At the beginning of each semester, the Centro de Linguas of the University of Vigo organizes 60-hours Spanish courses for international exchange students. The objective is to provide the basic knowledge of Spanish to facilitate the academic and social integration of non-Spanish-speaking international students.

Galician and Spanish are two official languages used within the university administration in Galicia. The Área de Normalización Lingüística organizes free Galician language and culture courses for international exchange students. It is a 75-hour course (50 hours of theory + 25 hours of guided tours).

If you wish to take an internship in one of the departments or laboratories of the Marine Sciences Faculty, you should in advance agree with a tutor (traineeship/academic coordinator) on the exact dates of your traineeship or visit.
The tutor will communicate to the mobility coordinator at the Marine Science Faculty, Cristina Sobrino (internacionalcmar@uvigo.es), the details of the student/visiting professor who wishes to undertake the stay.
The mobility coordinator will help to proceed with the mobility agreement and protocols from the International Relations Office (ORI) of the Universidade de Vigo.
