The undergraduate Degree in Ocean Sciences is a multi-disciplinary degree focused on providing knowledge of the marine and coastal environment. In contrast to other vertical degrees (the Degree in Mathematics and the Degree in Physics), the Degree in Ocean Sciences deals with the study and knowledge of oceans across all disciplines and areas of knowledge in the experimental sciences with a field of study in the marine environment.
Ocean Sciences is a horizontal and integrated degree that equips students with in-depth knowledge of geological, biological, physical and chemical aspects of oceanography, as well as an awareness of areas such as marine management.
