Spanish Royal Decree 1393/2007, 29 October, and 861/2010, 2 July, establishing the regulation of official university teaching, require the incorporation of an internal guarantee system for evaluating, monitoring and improving quality in the education that is provided for the verification and accreditation of a qualification. To meet this requirement, the Faculty of Ocean Sciences at the University of Vigo has designed an Internal Quality Guarantee System in partnership with the Quality Department at the University of Vigo.
